Hundreds of clients, 25 journalists and a photo
shooting in 9 days.
Only a few days after her world premiere at the BAVARIA
OPEN DAYS, the prototype of the new Bavaria
E34 set off on the “E-Summer-Tour”. First stop
was Werder on the Havel near Berlin, hosted by our
dealer Allert Marine. From Friday afternoon through
to Sunday night, more than 20 trial runs with just
under 100 guests and interested customers were
made. A wonderful harbour party, organised by Allert
Marine, was the highlight of the first week-end of the
E-Summer Tour. However, there was no break for the
Bavaria Team. Early on Monday morning, the first of 25
journalists arrived, who tested the Bavaria thoroughly
until Friday.
The feedback from both customers and journalists
was positive. Most praise was given to the large cabins,
the 360-degree view from the saloon, the position
of the helm station as the central point on board and
for the solid workmanship evident throughout the
Bavaria E34. A photo and video shooting on Saturday
and Sunday marked the end of this week in Berlin,
where the Bavaria E34 was filmed from stem to stern
and from morning to evening.
Just 48 hours later, the Bavaria E34 was floating on
the Baltic Sea in Travemünde, for further trial runs
with the designers, the project management and the
certification team. The Bavaria E34 also passed this
stressful and intensive test, however a list with small
details was drawn up that were to be optimised for the
start of the production run. Another week-end with
sea trials for customers closed the Travemünde week.
After a further week on Lake Constance, the E-Summer
Tour ended at the beginning of August in Speyer
on the Rhine.
