On September 2 and 3, Bavaria Yachts invites all
owners and fans of Bavarias and all other interested
parties to the Bavaria Baltic Weekend to the hotel
Yacht Habour Residence Hohe Düne near Rostock/
Germany. During this weekend in Warnemünde, you
can see many new Bavaria yachts and also participate
in various training sessions. A catamaran sailing training
on a NAuTITECH 40 OPEN is part of the program,
as are manoeuvres and docking of motor and sailing
yachts and several workshops about sail and rig trim
or navigation. And should you want to relax after so
much learning and training, you can do this very
pleasantly in then wellness section of the exquisite
hotel “Yacht Harbour Residence Hohe Düne” and also
stay there overnight.
BAVARIA BALTIC WEEKEND – THE PROGRAM
Catamaran sail training – not only for ladies: The
well-known circumnavigator Mareike Guhr will show you
how to handle best your catamaran on a NAuTITECH
OPEN 40. The training takes about 3 hours and includes
trim of the sails, hints for helming a catamaran and of
course safe manoeuvres in harbour. On Saturday, this
training is for ladies only, while on Sunday it is open to
all who wish to learn more about handling a catamaran.
Harbour manoeuvres without stress on sail or motor
yachts: Many will have heard of Richard Jeske through
his many lectures on the boat shows. In Warnemünde,
the passionate sailing teacher will demonstrate tricks
for relaxed harbour manoeuvres. Participants on
board can learn how to dock the boat and increase
their proficiency.
Workshops sail and rig trim and navigation. Arriving
quickly and safely: During the Bavaria Baltic Weekend,
the so-called boat hall on the premises of the Hotel
Yacht Harbour Residence Hohe Düne is the central
place of the event as well as the location for various
workshops for skippers of sail and motor yachts. “How
to best trim your rig” or “which information does my
chart plotter show” are only two examples of workshops

Indulge in luxury and wellness – with your own boat
or by car: Everyone can participate at the Bavaria
Baltic Weekend, regardless of arriving by boat or car.
All Bavaria yacht owners can moor for free in the fivestar
marina on September 2 and 3 and are also invited
to the Bavaria Baltic VIP night on Saturday. Owners
will receive a token after registering online through
the participating dealers. For all those arriving by
land, Bavaria Yachts and the Hotel Yacht Harbour
Residence Hohe Düne has a special offer with a Bavaria
Yachts special rate for accommodation and wellness.
