beach. Afterwards, La Mamma can prepare delicacies in the
open-air cooking space (insiders call this the Wet Bar) and then,
everyone in tutta la Banda can retreat to their favourite space
to chill. After sunset, the courtesy-lights in the cockpit provide
discreet lighting – a measure of showing off is no bad thing.
Despite all the design niceties, it is also evident that active
yachtsmen have worked on the Studio Cossutti. Both cockpit
tables have very strong handholds and the companionway hatch
disappears underground, while another handhold that runs the
length of the salon ceiling helps stay upright even in rough seas.
Running under engine reveals the sweet hull lines: at only 2,000
RPM we happily motor along at 6.3 knots. Should you want to
move fast under sail, just order the deeper keel version and car-bon
rig from the Ambition-pricelist and add performance sails
by Elvstrøm. The short bowsprit can be ordered in black, which
makes for a much better point from which to set the gennaker.
Maybe you would also like two black carbon wheels? This would
certainly round off the sporty look to perfection.
Cruising and racing; both are possible with this cleverly thought
through yacht, and both in fine style. Vitamin B (like Bavaria),
combined with vitamin C (as in Cossutti) and D (design) make a
truly performance-enhancing combination, both in the Holiday
or Style versions.
