It would be an honor to represent and work for Georgia as a
2018 NEA RA Delegate. I promise to serve with active experience,
dignity, integrity, and attentiveness.
As your Vice President, I am asking for your support to be elected
as a delegate to the NEA Representative Assembly. I would like to
be able to represent you. It is always an honor to represent the
members of the Georgia Association of Educators.
As your President, I look forward to the NEA RA in Minneapolis.
I ask that you again entrust me as a state delegate. It is my
greatest joy to represent you.
Dr. Sid Chapman
I, Sherry Coulombe, am respectfully submitting my candidacy
for State-At-Large Delegate for the 2018 NEA Representative
Assembly in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I am currently a member
of the Gwinnett County Association of Educators and serve as a
GAE Director for District 2. During this current school year I have
been to NEA trainings in Racial and Social Justice as well as in
Women’s Leadership. I am also a volunteer administrator for T.R.A.G.I.C. (Teachers
Rally to Advocate for Georgia Insurance Changes), which is 24, 000 members strong.
This is my third year serving on the State Superintendent’s Teacher Advisory Council
and my 17th year teaching music education for Gwinnett County Public Schools.
My passion for educational advocacy began when I had to fight for services for my son
to receive speech therapy as children with Selective Mutism are excluded for eligibility.
I learned as a teacher and a parent to be educated, bold and brave to ensure services
were granted to my child. I want to advocate for those who may be afraid or unsure
how to advocate for themselves. I want to broadcast a beacon of light for a better
future for the education system of both Georgia and the United States of America.
I enjoy the sisterhood and brotherhood that the Georgia Association of Educators and
the National Education Association provide. There is power in numbers, and when
great minds converge, compelling and meaningful work can be done in the name of
As a current leader on both the state and local levels, I ask that
you continue to allow me to represent you as a delegate at the
2018 NEA Representative Assembly.
Vote for Annette McCraw
NEA Delegate to the 2018 NEA RA
My name is Annette McCraw. I’m a nineteen year educator in
Clayton County (CCEA), working as a School Counselor. I have
worked diligently in various roles in the association for the past 16 years. Currently I
serve on my local Executive Board, Political Action Committee, Building Representative,
and Liaison for Professional Development Committee. I am also a member of GAE
and NEA Resolutions committees. I’ve worked hard on the GAE and NEA Elections
Committees, and as the seat prize chair at NEA RA in the past. I have represented
you for the past nine years or more as a delegate to the spring RA and NEA RA. I
am asking for your vote to represent you at the NEA RA this summer. I’d like the
opportunity to be your voice once again!
Ronda Ware has been a member of GAE for many years. She
has served on various committees within GAE and her local
association, she is the past president of the Floyd County
Association of Educators, the current PAC chair for FCAE, current
District 1 Director for GAE, and she has trained and provided
workshops for GAE across the state of Georgia. She is dedicated
to the work of the Representative Assembly and would like the opportunity to serve
once again as a State-At-Large delegate.
