" It might seem obvious but my recommendation is to visit the
Christ the Redeemer statue – it’s so synonymous with Brazil and
this city. Plus, you’ll get some unforgettable views from the
top of the mountain it sits on. Rio is such a colourful city and
if you’re into that then definitely bring a camera to snap it all
up, with great sights like the Escadaria Selaron steps and the
Santa Teresa neighbourhood. If you want to relax then of course
there’s Copacabana Beach and Ipanema and if you’re looking
for something to eat I’d definitely suggest checking out the street
food for tasty dishes like ‘pastel’ – a deep fried pastry with all
sorts of fillings – or ‘kibe balls’. "
