Day 1: Embarkation in Paris (UNESCO World
Embarkation from 04:00 pm. Enjoy your welcome
cocktail and welcome dinner on board. “Cast off!” at
08:00 pm. A river journey full of unforgettable experiences
is about to begin.
Day 2: Van Gogh and Cézanne in Auvers-sur-Oise
By morning you will have reached Conflans-Sainte-
Honorine and have the option to visit Auvers-sur-Oise.
Many famous artists, such as Vincent van Gogh
and Paul Cézanne have been inspired by this picturesque
valley. Walk on the impressionists‘ tracks.
Vincent van Gogh and his brother Théo are buried in
the cemetery of Auvers-sur-Oise. Lunch and dinner
will be served on board.
Day 3: Rouen and the Abbey Route
The next highlight of your cruise will be expecting
you in Rouen. Did you know that Joan of Arc was executed
here on marked square in 1431? Rouen has
been nicknamed the „City of a Hundred Towers“ due
to its Gothic cathedral and numerous other churches.
You may enjoy an interesting walk along the
old quay along the Seine embankment. Lunch will
be served on your cruiser. In the afternoon, you may
undertake an optional excursion along the „Abbey
Route“. This excursion

Day 4: Le Havre
(UNESCO World Heritage)
– Cliffs of Étretat and Honfleur
In the morning you can undertake an optional excursion
to the Atlantic coast. The cliffs of Étretat
are a unique scenario that you will remember for a
long time. In the afternoon, you can visit maritime
Honfleur. Small alleys, pretty timber-frame houses
and the two-span church of St. Cathérine characterise
this interesting place. With a little luck, you may
even spot painters at work on the quay of Honfleur.
Day 5: Le Havre – Normandy Circular Tour
Today, you will have the option to join a circular
tour through Normandy with stops in the historic
Bayeux with its famous medieval tapestry, in Caen
with its more than thousand years of history and in
Pont l’Évêque where the cheese of the same name
is produced. In the evening, return to your cruiser
that will moor at Caudebec-en-Caux and head for
Day 6: Les Andelys / Château Gaillard, Giverny
and the Palace of Versailles
There will be a short stop in Les Andelys to organise
today’s excursions. Everyone who is interested
can join a tour to Giverny and see the famous Monet
house with its colourful garden, followed by a
short stop at château Gaillard – the castle of Richard
Lionheart. In Vernon, you will return to your cruiser
for your lunch. Those who want to participate in the
Palace of Versailles-excursion will leave the boat in
the afternoon in Vernon and return to the vessel in
Poissy before dinner. The palace of Versailles is one
of the largest palaces in Europe and definitely a milestone
of European castle architecture.
Day 7: Paris
In the morning you will have reached the French capital
Paris where you will have an opportunity to join
a sightseeing tour. In the afternoon, you may undertake
an optional visit to the artists‘ quarter of Montmartre.
In the evening you are likely to be enchanted
by the nocturnal boat trip through brightly lit Paris.
Day 8: Disembarkation
Disembarkation after breakfast.
