Julie Page is chief executive officer
of Aon UK and is responsible for the
strategic management, statutory
and governance oversight of Aon
UK, delivering on the firm’s global
vision, financial goals and statutory
and regulatory agenda.
Page also leads commercial
risk, health and affinity solutions
providing a range of risk, insurance
and health and benefits services to
clients. With over 30 years in the
insurance broking sector, Page has a worked with clients across all
segments, including consumer, SME, UK and global corporate and
many industry segments.
Page is deputy president of the Chartered Insurance Institute
(CII), a member of the CBI Presidents Committee and an industry
champion for diversity and inclusion, holding roles as a committee
member of Inclusion@Lloyd’s, a former chair of the Dive In Festival
committee and an ambassador for the Insurance Supper Club.
Page was deputy chair of British Insurance Brokers’ Association
(BIBA) until mid-2019 and is also a member of the Financial Conduct
Authority’s practitioner panel, which is constructed to represent the
various sectors within which regulated financial businesses operate.
In 2017 Page was a recipient of a Business Insurance EMEA
Women to Watch award.

Nicola Parton was appointed head
of P&C business management
and a member of the reinsurance
executive team for Swiss Re in
December 2017.
In her role, Parton leads the
global teams responsible for
managing Swiss Re’s in-force
portfolio of property and casualty
reinsurance business. This includes
claims management, large loss
estimation, technical accounting,
portfolio management, run-off, client strategy and solutions,
auditing, operations and reserving.
Working together, P&C business management’s teams are honing
a post-bind, end-to-end client service experience that truly delights—
and improving the way they draw upon their collective expertise and
insights to add value to the client’s business at every stage.
Parton joined Swiss Re in 2003, and has held various leadership
positions in that time, including head of claims for Swiss Re Corporate
Solutions for six years. She’s passionate about putting the client
first, and championed Corporate Solutions’ claims commitment, an
industry-leading claims service promise viewed as a differentiator in
the market.
As a leader, Parton advocates for diversity and inclusion. She’s taken
pragmatic steps to support and encourage women in the business,
including both formal and informal mentoring and sponsorship of
women for leadership positions in her teams and in Swiss Re.
In 2014, she received Business Insurance’s Woman to Watch
recognition. She’s also a proud ally of the LGBTI+ network and their
activities at Swiss Re.
Parton holds a BA/LLB (Hons) degree from University of Auckland,
New Zealand.
