Why did you choose to work in this industry?
After completing my MBA, I was looking for an opportunity
to work in an industry that offered business opportunities,
required interpersonal skills and had a growth potential. The
EWB training programme offered all three.
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
Meeting people that have become dear friends. When you
work so hard, it makes it a joy to spend the time with people
you genuinely like. I feel very fortunate to be able to call my
clients and colleagues friends.
What has been the biggest challenge you have encountered?
Finding enough time in the day. As a single mother, I find
it difficult to get everything done in the sometimes short 24
hours. It is challenging to prioritise my day and make sure
that I give the appropriate attention to the task at hand.
If you had chosen a different profession/career path, what
would it have been?
That is a toss-up between movie and food critic.
“I feel very fortunate to be able to call
my clients and colleagues friends.”
