I would encourage others to follow their passions and never to stop
working hard. There may be rewards in the future but these are only
for the diligent who persevere and never give up. You must have
determination and be a positive thinker.

It is important to stick to what you love, but it is equally important not to
be afraid to step outside your comfort zone in order to try new things.
I am doing the BTEC program. I have always
been fascinated about how the body works
and how to perfect it. It made sense to
pursue sports in my sixth form years and
the BTEC program suits my strengths and
my tastes. I am also part of the new Warwick
Academy High Performance Swim Program
and I’m very much enjoying being a part of that.
The two coincide very closely and what I learn in the classroom helps me
in the pool and vice versa.
I also have enough free time to pursue my love for photography. I have
won awards locally and internationally, including the RSPCA youth
wild life photographer of the year and being shortlisted for youth
astronomer of the year.
I am very much looking forward to the next two years at Warwick
Academy as a part of the BTEC program and the swim team.
