W D M Q: How has URGE Mobile kept pace? A: Would it be considered rude or arrogant if I was to say that URGE doesn’t ‘keep pace’… we set it! Michelle, look at life in general and how much changed over a 10 year period… Consumers consume differently. We are living in an amazing time, a time where only the most innovative, aggressive and supportive originations prevail. We are seeing it in ALL industries. URGE Mobile appreciates each and every relationship. We treat our customers like gold… we make sure there updated, trained and stocked with all the latest and greatest. Our network of loyal dealers enjoys weekly ‘Get URGEd’ conference calls, email communications, Facebook, twitter and now Wordivate text mobile dealer updates. At URGE Mobile we don’t just sell phones and offer wireless service… we build relationships! “ The TracFone acquisition of Simple Mobile is very good for its current Master Agents, Retailers and Sub-Distributors...” Q: From your perspective, has the TracFone acquisition of Simple Mobile changed the business and if so, how? A: Great question, you really have been following the business haven’t you… The TracFone acquisition of Simple Mobile is very good for its current Master Agents, Retailers and Sub-Distributors. TracFone has set it’s target on the indirect channel and has made it clear, it will own the channel. Unlike, traditional MVNO’s, TracFone is huge company. Today, TracFone serves over 21 million customers across 5 brands. Their revenues are now over $4 Billion and the company has been prof itable since 2001. In 1999, they became a subsidiary of America Movil (NYSE: AMX), who is one of the largest communication companies in the world and the dominant service provider in Mexico and most of Latin America. At the end of June 2012, America Movil had 252 million wireless customers and over 313 million total customers (wireless, landline and TV). They have more wireless customers than AT&T and Verizon combined. TracFone has scale, they are well capitalized, prof itable and they have signif icant wholesale relationships with all 4 of the major US carriers (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile). They deliver customers service on the “same networks, provide customers with the same phones, all at a much lower cost”. Sorry if I’m rambling… perhaps I should have just said, yes; the acquisition is Simple Mobile by TracFone is a good thing for URGE Mobile – Currently we are one of the largest distribution partners for TracFone. 87
