These vets are the owners of a superior line of Equine health products that treats severe GI problems in their equine patients. After treating more than 1,000 Working Equids in Mexico for a variety of ailments during an AAEP sponsored Equitarian Initiative mission, the veterinarians realized that by providing well-designed, nutritional supplements to underdeveloped regions dependent on burros, mules and horses, the people would be better able to care for their animals and families. The question then became, “what to do about it?” 42 Miniature Horse World JUNE/JULY 2013 Co-Founder Keith Latson, DVM visits with 2 young locals about their donkey’s health problems. The answer: They re-launched their nutritional company as FullBucket. FullBucket’s Giving program is simple: for every serving of supplement sold in the US, a serving of supplement specifically developed for the region is given to animals in need. The team is committed to their mantra of “Do Good and Be Good,” by bringing FullBucket to life and are currently developing a wide range of innovative, first-to-market animal healthcare products. Susan died peacefully on her beautiful ranch in the Santa Ynez Valley in California. In the weeks before her death she was surrounded by many who loved her. Susan was a passionate woman, especially in her love for animals, art and children. Weeks before her death, Susan told her daughter Bessie, that she was not a rule follower she was rule maker and a rule breaker…an inventor! Those who knew her will agree, truer words were never spoken. Susan was generous beyond words and made a difference in so many people’s lives and she touched the hearts of so many animals and horses. The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made instead to Therapeutic Pets of Santa Barbara (PO Box 549, Santa Ynez, CA 93460) in honor of Susan.
