The OFFSITE Construction Show, debuting at London’s ExCel, this autumn is the first national showcase held at a major venue to shine a spotlight on the exciting potential that this method of construction offers and the UK’s precast industry are making sure that concrete will be strongly reperesented at this popular new show being organised by Marwood Events, known to the industry of the organisers of highly successful UK Concrete Show. Sales Director, Paul Shelley, is delighted at the support for this new show from the UK’s precasters. “Developments in concrete technology that are highlighted annually at the NEC with our UK Concrete Show, mean that precast elements are stronger, relatively lighter and more durable than ever, and with aesthetic improvements such as fair faced finishing, are in pole position to take a big share of this rapidly expanding market”, said Paul. The demand for stands for this new events has taken the organisers a little by surprise, according to Paul. “We are now in discussions with the venue to look at increasing the amount of space we have available, as with approaching 80 stands already sold and with 3 months remaining until doors open on Wednesday 14th October, 2015, we are on target to pass 100 exhibitors and need more space for our show features”, Paul adds.
