The CONCRETE Times • MAY 2015 EUROBLEND MIXING IT WITH CROSSRAIL TWO Euromecc mobile units - A Fast Dry 70 and a Fast 100 Wet plant, ARE producing combined high performance concreTE volumes of 170m3 /h in London’S SILVERTOWN 8 A Euromecc Fast Dry 70 from Euroblend, supplied to contractor P J Davidson (UK), is producing 70m3/h of high performance concrete to install the new central barrier along the M1 (junction 15 to 20) motorway, a project due for completion in 2016. As reported in December’s issue, two further Euromecc units, a Fast Dry 70 and a Fast 100 Wet plant, producing a combined total of 170m3 /h of high performance concrete, are already installed and operational at the Crossrail site in Silvertown, London. Eamonn Ryan, MD of Euroblend Ltd (UK sole agent for Euromecc) comments, “We displayed the Fast 100 Wet model at this year’s UK Concrete Show in February, which we erected and dismantled in record time and we expect to follow up this latest sale with other customer orders following the Show.” Crossrail is the multi billion pound 118-kilometre (73- mile) railway line under construction in London and its environs. It should begin full operation in 2018 with a new east-west route across Greater London. The Euromecc Fast 100 BATCHING PLANT FEATURE Eamonn continues, “We’ve built a good relationship with P J Davidson (UK) with fast order delivery – less than 5 weeks from order to commissioning on site - together with good backup service. According to their MD, Peter Davidson, Euroblend are a supplier that make things happen for their business.”
