First time exhibitors, USA manufacturers, Columbia Machine, Inc., are a world leader in the design and manufacture of range of precast production equipment, including batching and mixing solutions, moulds, mechanical palletising machines and robotic solutions. Moyle Engineering, leading Northern Ireland manufacturer of machinery and production equipment for the precast industry appear at UKCS for the first time alongside show regular, KVM International, who deliver lines for complete paving stone and block making equipment for everylevel of production, turnkey plants or single machines. Italy’s Bianchi Casseforme is another major precast production machinery and equipment manufacturer making their debut at the show this year. UK based Forest Press Hydraulics, supply, support and re-condition three & single mould slab presses, kerb presses and all wet mix presses, offering consultation, manufacture, press re-conditioning, spares, consumables, expert advice and technical support. Finnish manufacturers, Elematic, describe themselves as a one stop shop for precast concrete technology. With 50 years experience and now supplying 40% of the World’s precast industry, their 450 patents have resulted in genuine innovations such as machines and for production of extruded hollow-core slabs, sandwich walls and non-loadbearing Acotec walls. First-time exhibitors Euroblend, are offering precast production equipment from the well-established Italian producer, Euromecc. Other exhibitors offering precast production equipment include Liebherr, Humarbo Machinery, Masa, Mc Girr Engineering, Moyle Engineering along with Nordimpianti Systems, Quadra Rotho , SRS Finlay and PCT and completing a top class lineup with 20 companies in the precast production equipment sector alone, are Techmatik of Poland and Top-Werk, Zenith Emden, and Frima, all from Germany. Moving on to curing technology, specialists Besser, Curetec and German based, Kraft Curing Systems, all return to the show in 2015. Look out for seminars on curing - Mike Munro from Besser presents “Back to basics & production of concrete products post recession” on Thursday February, 26th in Seminar 1 at 13.00. Michael Kraft of Kraft Curing Systems offering “Effective curing for Preacst Concrete” on Thursday, February 26 at 10.30 in Seminar 1. First time German production board manufacturers Assyx, are joined by their compatriots, Wasa, returning to the show, with this product group being completed by Conplex of the Netherlands. Precast mould manufacturers include regular exhibitors Kobra, of the Netherlands and Construx, one of Europe’s leading precast mould makers, make a welcome return to the show. German specialist mould manufacturer, Rampf Formen, exhibit in their own right for the first time and they are joined at the show by ever present exhibitor, Northern Ireland’s, Coote Engineering. Patterns and Moulds from the UK and Humarbo Machinery of the Netherlands complete the show’s comprehensive offering of mould manufacturers. Having mixed, moulded and cured it, you have to move it and that’s where precast handling equipment comes in. German manufacturers Probst, have not missed a single show since the launch of UKCS in 2011 and are joined in 2015 by first timers, Nordimpianti of Italy and Shuttlelift from the USA, making their show debut with their innovative lifting systems. That’s a grand total of more than 30 specialist concrete precast supply chain exhibitors from 6 countries on display at the show that remains Europe’s Number 1 and is all about concrete - The UK CONCRETE Show.
