The CONCRETE Times ŭTVNNFS 6,$0/$3&5&4)08 6,$PODSFUF0O5BSHFU'PS"4FMM0VU 2018’s event – the eighth show in the series looks set for a sell-out showcase. According to Event Director Paul Shelley next year’s show is already approaching 70% filled, 8 months before the doors open. “We still have lots of work to do to make next year’s show even better than in previous years” comments Paul “but we’ve had a robust re-booking from the last show with several exhibitors taking larger stands plus new companies joining up.” Latest names include PERI – the formwork and scaffolding specialists, Liebherr making a welcome return with their extensive range of concrete equipment. “Moving to the newer halls at NEC (National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham) gives us more flexibility” Paul adds “research shows many visitors use the parking, our new location means car parking close to the show’s entrance.” The later timeslot – moving from February to March should also help with the show’s popularity. “We plan to re-introduce the outside demonstration and large kit area” says Paul “another feature to further enhance the concrete experience.” The UK Concrete Show takes place on 21 & 22 March.
