U.S. Brand Protection & Trademark Seminar
April 8 – 11, 2019
This seminar provides a comprehensive overview of brand selection,
clearance and protection as well as trademark practice in the United States.
Beginning with introductory lectures on the U.S. trademark system, the
topics become more complex throughout the week, exploring advanced
topics such as protecting brands on social media, anti-counterfeiting,
domain name issues, inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial
and Appeal Board (TTAB) and litigation.
Post Grant Bootcamp
June 10 – 12, 2019
The bootcamp features an overview of post grant issues and possible post
grant options for challenging and/or correcting a patent, followed by an indepth
look at post grant procedures at the USPTO (including inter partes
review, post-grant review and supplemental examination), presented
through lectures and a workshop problem.
Summer Patent Seminar
June 13, 2019 – July 3, 2019
Participants receive a complete overview of U.S. patent law, with a focus on
the practical problems encountered in obtaining valid and enforceable U.S.
patents, as well as enforcement of patent rights after grant. The seminar
features both lectures and hands-on workshops.
